Baidya relieved as leader of 33-party alliance

KATHMANDU, JUN 15 - CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya has been relieved as the leader of33-party alliance .

A meeting of the alliance on Monday decided to removed Baidya from its leadership, following his prolonged absence in the meetings and inaction in party activities.

He has been stripped of the alliance's leadership from today, the alliance said in a press statement.

The alliance will run its activities in coordination with party senior member Shobharam Thapa, read the statement.
